Older Workers
Regarding your timely June 10 article, “A Wobbly Japan Puts On Training Wheels”: The article says that in Japan, and I quote, “Companies still dislike hiring mid-career employees, preferring to take on fresh college graduates and train them.” Do you think it’s any different in the U.S.? Come on now. Get real.
It’s time to shed these preconceived stereotypes of older workers everywhere and accept the fact there are people of all ages ready and willing to learn a new career.
