Dell Computer Picks a New Ad Agency
Dell Computer Corp. has selected Ammirati Puris Lintas of New York to handle its home and small-business advertising. San Francisco-based Goldberg Moser O’Neill resigned from the $30-million account in March after Dell put the account up for review. Goldberg subsequently was picked to handle advertising for Micron Technologies, a Boise, Idaho-based computer manufacturer. . . . Wells Fargo & Co. said that DDB Los Angeles would continue to handle advertising for the banking company that recently merged with Minneapolis-based Norwest Corp. Carmichael Lynch, the Minneapolis-based agency that had handled Norwest’s advertising, will continue as the agency of record for Norwest Bank in Minnesota.
