IXL Leases Space at Howard Hughes Center

Internet consulting firm IXL Inc. has signed a $40-million, 10-year lease for 100,000 square feet of office space at Arden Realty Inc.’s new Howard Hughes Center development at Howard Hughes Parkway and the San Diego Freeway.

With the signing of the four-floor IXL lease, the 10-story, 240,000-square-foot building at 6060 Center Drive is 85% leased, said Robert Chavez of Staubach Co., who represented Atlanta-based IXL along with Staubach’s Peter London. Arden was represented by Grafton Tanquary, Bill Bloodgood, John Ayoob and Stan Gerlach of CB Richard Ellis and in-house by Michael Pollack and Robert C. Peddicord.
