Tickets.com in Pacts With 400 Venues
Tickets.com Inc. said Thursday that it has signed agreements to provide Internet ticketing capabilities to more than 400 venues worldwide. The Costa Mesa company said in a press release that it will provide consumers with Internet access to tickets through its interfaces with venue box offices.
The company said that as the venues become Internet-enabled, which it expects to occur through this spring or summer, Tickets.com will receive revenue from each ticket sold over its Internet network.
Web-enabled venues can sell tickets via Tickets.com’s site or through their own Web sites.
