R.W. Selby & Co., a real estate investment and development firm specializing in apartments, acquired 264-unit Glenfield Apartments at 268 W. Dryden St. in Glendale for $20 million from Remee Ltd. of Los Angeles. The seller was represented by Michael Fiorina of Los Angeles-based Total Companies. Selby & Co. was represented in-house by Daniel Fried.
* Cast Real Estate Holdings acquired a 114,549-square-foot, multi-tenant industrial building at 14141 Covello St. in Van Nuys for $7.8 million from Hazeltine Commerce Center Inc., according to Ron Feder of R.J. Feder & Associates Inc., who represented the seller. The buyer was represented by Jack Holly and Matt Sullivan of Marcus & Millichap.
* Parc Rose Ltd. bought a 20.8-acre parcel of vacant land on Williams Drive near St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard for $6 million from Cambridge Development Co. Fred Ferro of NAI/Capital Commercial, who represented both the buyer and the seller, said Parc Rose plans to develop a 373-unit apartment complex on the site.
* Realty Marketing Network bought a 35,000-square-foot building at 11965 Venice Blvd. in Mar Vista from the Betty Anne Eastman Survivors Trust for $5 million. Andrew Wilson and James Wilson of Lee & Associates represented both the buyer and seller.
* Hedman Hedders purchased a 100,000-square-foot building at 12436 Putnam St. in Whittier for $5 million from the Cohen Trust. Bill Welsh, Bob Goodmanson and Ian Britton of CB Richard Ellis represented the buyer. The seller was represented by Elizabeth Hughes of Lee & Associates.
* Newport Beach-based Koll Development Co. signed Internet equipment manufacturer Ipivot Inc. of San Diego to a seven-year, $4.7-million lease for 43,000 square feet of space at Koll’s new 105,000-square-foot industrial project at 13280 Evening Creek Drive in the San Diego-area community of Sabre Springs. Chris Pascale of CB Richard Ellis represented Koll. Ipivot was represented by David Marino of Irving Hughes Group in San Diego.
* Ahmad Bashirian purchased Sun Plaza, a 33,017-square-foot shopping center at 735-769 S. Vermont Ave. in Los Angeles, for $4.3 million from Irving, Texas-based Archon Group and New York-based Goldman Sachs. Mark Hong of Grubb & Ellis represented the sellers. Fara Salamat of Coldwell Banker represented the buyer.
* Bayside Properties acquired a 62,970-square-foot industrial building at 18525 Railroad St. in Industry for $3.9 million from Newport Beach-based Turner Development Corp., which recently completed construction of the building. The seller was represented by Alan Pekarcik and Tyson Theel of Voit Commercial Brokerage. The buyer was represented by Jedd Zaun of Lee & Associates.
* BLT Enterprises acquired a 3.63-acre parcel of industrial land at 3033 Washington Blvd. in downtown Los Angeles for $2.3 million from Jefferson Smurfit. Vince Vatterott of Michelson Commercial Realty of St. Louis and his local partner, John McMillan of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the buyer and seller.
* Walker & Zanger, a national distributor of floor coverings, signed a nine-year, $2-million lease for a 30,000-square-foot building at 13191 Telfair Ave. in Sylmar. The landlord, Chocolates a la Carte, was represented by Ross Thomas of Delphi Business Properties. The tenant was represented by Mike LaRocque of Daum Commercial Real Estate.
* Cool Fuel Inc. acquired a 4.2-acre parcel at 7201 Rosecrans Ave. in Paramount for more than $2 million from Fu-Lyons Associates of Paramount. The parties represented themselves in the transaction.
