United Autocomp Bought by Carbiz.com
Carbiz.com Inc., a Toronto software company, said Tuesday that it has acquired United Autocomp Computer Inc. and sister company Netchoice Corp., both in Irvine, for $60,000 in cash and 514,816 shares of Carbiz stock.
The stock was worth a total of $746,483 (Canadian) based on Tuesday’s close of $1.45 (Canadian) for Carbiz, up 5 cents a share on the Venture exchange in Canada.
Carbiz said in a press release that United Autocomp and Netchoice provide business solutions for new and used automobile dealers with software designed to improve productivity and efficiency.
