Trade Center President to Leave
Tom Teofilo, who has been president of the World Trade Center Assn. of Los Angeles and Long Beach for six years, will vacate the position Dec. 31 to become a private consultant, Teofilo said Monday.
The trade support group, with offices in both of its titular cities, offers member importers and exporters services such as international business plan assistance, foreign market development and help in securing financing.
Teofilo, 54, who had been a private trade consultant for eight years before joining the trade center, will remain with the organization as a member of its board of directors. No replacement has been named.
