Oracle to Discuss Quarterly Performance
Oracle Corp. plans to hold a conference call to discuss quarterly earnings after stock markets, scheduled to reopen today, close.
The software company on Thursday reported results for its fiscal first quarter but delayed its conference call and did not release comments or a forecast for future quarters.
The Redwood City, Calif.-based company said profit rose 2% to $510.6 million, or 9 cents a share, a penny better than expectations.
Companies planning to report earnings this week include FedEx Corp., Adobe Systems Inc. and retailers Best Buy Co., Circuit City Stores Group and Good Guys Inc.
