Pacific Sunwear Profit Decreases Slightly
Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. reported fiscal first-quarter earnings of $3.3 million, or 10 cents a share, down slightly from $3.5million, or 11 cents, a year ago. Analysts were expecting 11 cents.
Year-ago results exclude a charge that brought net income to $1 million, or 3 cents a share.
The Anaheim retailer’s sales rose 17% to $161.7 million.
Its shares rose 19 cents to $19.49 on Nasdaq.
