Opus West to Develop Industrial Properties
Opus West Corp. has purchased approximately 40 acres of dairy land in Chino for the development of 900,000 square feet of industrial and distribution space.
A 20-acre parcel at the northwest corner of Edison and Mountain avenues is earmarked for the construction of 10 buildings totaling nearly 400,000 square feet of space. The first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed in April.
On a 21.5-acre parcel at the southwest corner of Euclid and Kimball avenues, Opus West plans to start construction in February on about 500,000 square feet of warehouse distribution space.
In addition to the Chino industrial properties, the company will design and build an 85,000-square-foot office building in San Bernardino for investment group Rancon Realty Fund VI. The building, which is scheduled to start construction this month, will be located in the Tri City Corporate Centre.
Phoenix-based Opus West said it planned to break ground next year on 2.1 million square feet of industrial space in the Inland Empire.
