Alzheimer’s Benefit Walk Set for Sept. 29

The Alzheimer’s Memory Walk 2002 is scheduled Sept. 29 at San Buenaventura State Beach.
The event, which will begin at 9 a.m., will help raise funds for Ventura County families dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and help provide free programs for the community.
The registration fee is $20 by Sept. 20; $35 thereafter. Payment should be sent to the Alzheimer’s Assn., 1339 Del Norte Road, Camarillo 93010.
The registration fee includes a Memory Walk T-shirt, free parking, a prize-drawing ticket and lunch.
