Stupid Statements, No Matter the Source

The same week Rush Limbaugh made his offensive statement regarding Donovan McNabb, I as a Caucasian male was offended by boxer Erik Morales’ degrading response to why the seven-bout Staples Center card pitting him against Guty Espadas would be worth viewing, “because you’re going to see two Mexicans going strong, fighting hard, and not going to see two black guys ... hugging each other, or two chicken-[hearted] white guys who don’t want to fight, doing nothing.”

If this had been a male Caucasian with the same response toward Latino boxers, he would be punished or suspended.
