Rockwood, Hopkins Join Forces on Projects
Real estate investor Rockwood Capital Corp. committed $50 million to acquire or develop retail properties in Southern California with Hopkins Real Estate Group of Newport Beach.
The partners’ first project will be the construction of Telaga Village Center, a 130,000-square-foot neighborhood shopping center in the Telaga planned community in San Clemente. They expect to start work by the end of the year on the $20-million to $25-million project, said Stephen C. Hopkins of Hopkins Real Estate Group. The partners also plan to build two shopping centers in Riverside County.
