Stuntwoman to receive award
Stuntwoman Jeanne Epper will become the first woman to receive the lifetime achievement award from the movie industry’s stunt organization, and “300’s” Gerard Butler, who performed many of the hit film’s battle scenes, will receive the action movie star of the year award.
Both prizes will be handed out at the “2007 Taurus World Stunt Awards,” scheduled to be broadcast on cable’s AMC on May 25, the World Stunt Foundation announced Wednesday.
Epper has performed stunts on “Rush Hour 2,” “Armageddon” and “Kill Bill Vol. 2,” among many other movies. Awards will be presented in nine categories.
