NATIONAL BRIEFING
Times Wire Reports
A Civil War soldier whose remains were found in a battlefield grave in May was reburied by admirers who knew neither his name nor even what side he fought on.
The soldier died in the 1864 Battle of Franklin.
Civil War reenactors and a horse-drawn carriage took the coffin, draped in Confederate and Union flags, to Rest Haven Cemetery.
