Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson and his wife, Brazilian model Lisalla Montenegro, have purchased a five-bedroom home in Corona del Mar for $2.37 million.

Built in 1976, the two-story home sits on a raised lot of more than half an acre in the Spyglass Hill neighborhood with panoramic views extending from Saddleback Mountain to the coastline.

Some 3,300 square feet of living space includes a step-down living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room and an updated kitchen. Travertine and wood floors, built-ins and crown molding are among the interior details.

Wilson, two times an all-star, has a record of 7-7 with an ERA of 3.83 in 18 starts for the Angels this year. The Newport Beach native is in the fourth year of a five-year, $77.5-million deal he signed in 2011.
