Ex-Rams QB Jim Everett lists his home on a golf course in San Juan Capistrano
Former Rams quarterback Jim Everett has called an audible on his home in San Juan Capistrano, listing the property for sale at about $1.575 million.
The Mediterranean-style home, built in 1989, sits on roughly a quarter-acre of grounds and overlooks the golf course at the Marbella Country Club.
Within more than 4,100 square feet of living space is a living room with a fireplace, a center-island kitchen, a media room, four bedrooms and 3.25 bathrooms. A formal dining room sits off the kitchen and has a wine cellar.
The master suite, with a sitting room and a fireplace, takes in a view of the fairways.
French doors extend the living space outside, where a large trellis tops an al fresco dining area and kitchen. Lawns, palms and other landscaping complete the setting.
Everett bought the house three years ago for $1.5 million, records show.
Patrick Lehman, an independent broker, holds the listing.
Everett, 53, played eight seasons for the Rams from 1986-1993, leading the team to three playoff berths and earning a Pro Bowl nod in 1991. He retired in 1997 following stints with the New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers.
