Sylvester Stallone deems his desert home expendable at a lower price
Actor Sylvester Stallone is taking the gloves off in a bid to sell his desert retreat. He’s lowered the price on the home in a gated La Quinta community to $3.625 million, down from $4.199 million earlier this year.
The custom villa, built in 2008, is designed for indoor-outdoor entertaining and features pocket doors, multiple terraces and a custom swimming pool and spa that overlooks a running creek and a green belt
The 5,173 square feet of space include a formal entry, a two-story living room, a formal dining room and a breakfast nook. A chef’s kitchen is outfitted with a long, granite-topped island and a wine room. Glass doors off the dining area open to an outdoor kitchen.
There are two master suites, each with a stone fireplace, a wet bar, walk-in closets and dual vanities, for a total of four bedrooms and four full bathrooms. A private terrace sits off one of the masters.
Outdoors, hedges and tall palms provide cover for a wide patio, pool and fire pit. A shared motor court and a two-car garage sits off the front of the home.
Josh Reef of Hurwitz James Co. is the listing agent for the home, which is being offered fully furnished.
