Busy Philipps welcomes a baby daughter, her second

Busy Philipps welcomed her second baby girl on Tuesday, and boy does the two-time mom have a minimalist’s way with words.

“So this happened ...” the 33-year-old said Wednesday on Twitter, captioning a lovely black-and-white photo of herself cradling her newborn. Daddy is screenwriter Marc Silverstein.

“Everyone is healthy and happy,” the “Cougar Town” star’s rep told People, adding that baby girl weighed in at 8½ pounds.

The new tot, whose name has not been announced, joins big sis Birdie Leigh, 4.

And in the spirit of mom’s message, we’re keeping this post minimal.
