Jennifer Hudson’s assistant flips out over lavish Christmas gift

Who knows if he’s hard to buy for, but Jennifer Hudson knew exactly what to get her friend and assistant Walter Williams for Christmas this year: a house.

Williams’ reaction to the gift, which she delivered to him in the form of some paperwork, is priceless, and the onetime “American Idol” singer posted it on Instagram for all to see.

“My assistant Walter’s reaction when he found out I was buying him a house for Christmas!,” she captioned the video, which you can see below.

Hudson and Williams have been pals since the sixth grade, she said in a 2011 interview with the Advocate.

“He’s by far my closest friend,” the Grammy- and Oscar-winner told the mag.

Apparently, JHud does right by her people.
