Rosie O’Donnell announces new baby girl with Michelle Rounds

It’s a baby girl for Rosie O’Donnell and her wife Michelle Rounds.

O’Donnell announced the news Wednesday via Instagram, posting a picture of the proud new moms with their little bundle of joy.

“we r thrilled to announce the arrival of r daughter Dakota - #withloveandthanks - AMEN,” she wrote.

The baby was born Saturday and weighed in at 5 pounds, 5 ounces, according to USA Today.

O’Donnell revealed in January, shortly after their engagement, that Rounds was trying to get pregnant. The couple were married in early June, right before Rounds underwent the first of several surgeries to remove gastrointestinal desmoid tumors. In August, O’Donnell suffered a heart attack.

Rosie already has four kids with ex Kelli Carpenter: Parker, Chelsea, Blake and Vivienne. This is Michelle’s first baby.
