Seth Meyers engaged to girlfriend Alexi Ashe

Seth Meyers and longtime lawyer girlfriend Alexi Ashe are engaged.

“Weekend Update” host Meyers, who’ll be hanging out at “Saturday Night Live” through fall before exiting the show, popped the question recently, his rep confirmed to Us Weekly.

The couple, who live together in New York, met at a wedding a few years ago, according to the New York Daily News.

Ashe “works for the Brooklyn district attorney fighting sex trafficking,” Meyers told Elle magazine last year. “It really takes away my ability to say I had a hard day at work.”

Meyers, of course, will be taking on a more regular gig next year, stepping into Jimmy Fallon’s shoes as the host of NBC’s “Late Night.”

“[H]is schedule will be slowly easing up,” an Us source said. “He wanted to do it after ‘SNL’ wrapped [because] he didn’t want to be an absentee fiance. Her family loves him.”
