Justin Timberlake reported to be rejoining ‘NSync at MTV VMAs
The list of unanswered questions for Sunday’s MTV VMAs is growing. Will Lady Gaga’s Jeff Koons’ references be lost amid the nudity? How many dancers can Miley Cryus get to twerk at once? How will Kanye West attempt to offend someone?
Here’s one to add to the list: Will Justin Timberlake reunite with the boy band that made him famous, ‘NSync?
Reports out of New York -- namely the New York Post -- are indicating that Timberlake will indeed appear with his former bandmates. If true, the sudden reunion wouldn’t be entirely out of place at the VMAs, as Timberlake is set to receive the retrospective Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Also, with One Direction making an appearance on the VMAs, the Backstreet Boys enjoying a reunion tour and Beyoncé appearing with Destiny’s Child at this year’s Super Bowl, all-boy and all-girl pop bands are suddenly more trendy than laughable.
Heading into Sunday, Timberlake is tied with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for the most MTV VMA nominations this year, with six. Including his work with ‘NSync, Timberlake has already won a total of 14 VMAs, according to MTV.
Timberlake will on Sept. 30 release “The 20/20 Experience -- 2 of 2.” The first edition in Timberlake’s 2013 “20/20 Experience” series has sold more than 2.1 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. It is currently at No. 21 on the U.S. pop charts.
