Earthquake: 2.7 quake strikes near Frazier Park
A shallow magnitude 2.7 earthquake was reported Wednesday morning three miles from Frazier Park, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 4:29 a.m. PDT at a depth of 9.3 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 24 miles from Fillmore, 26 miles from Castaic, 29 miles from Santa Paula, and 298 miles from Sacramento.
In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
