Earthquake: 4.0 quake near West Bishop

A shallow magnitude 4.0 earthquake was reported Thursday morning four miles from West Bishop, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 11:14 a.m. Pacific time a depth of 4.3 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 75 miles from Sanger, 76 miles from Reedley, and 76 miles from Dinuba.
