Victim identified in fatal hit-and-run on Crenshaw Boulevard
Los Angeles police have identified the victim of a fatal hit-and-run collision that occurred early Saturday evening.
Markeis Vonreece Parish, 18, a Los Angeles resident, was struck by a southbound silver Mercedes-Benz sedan at about 6:15 p.m. as he crossed Crenshaw Boulevard at 78th Street. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
Police described the sedan as a “newer model.”
