Three people die in traffic collision in Pico Rivera
Three people died Thursday night in Pico Rivera after two compact cars collided, authorities said.
The victims appeared to have been ejected from one of the vehicles in the crash near San Gabriel River Parkway and Rose Hills Road near the 605 Freeway, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
“It’s terrible,” Lt. Andrew Meyer of the agency’s Pico Rivera station told The Times.
He said information coming from his deputies at the scene was preliminary. They were gathering evidence and trying to piece together what transpired.
No additional details were immediately available.
