Huntington Beach riot: Teen accused of toppling portable toilets
Huntington Beach police have arrested another suspect linked to the U.S. Open of Surfing disturbance, according to a Huntington Beach police statement.
The 15-year-old Huntington Beach boy, whose identity is not being release, was booked into Orange County Juvenile Hall on Thursday on suspicion of assault on a peace officer, vandalism, inciting a riot and refusing to disperse when ordered, according to authorities.
The teen reportedly threw glass bottles at officers on Main Street and tipped over portable restrooms, authorities said.
There are now 10 suspects arrested in connection with the disturbance Sunday in downtown Huntington Beach after the surfing event.
Huntington Beach police also asked for the public’s help in identifying two men who were assaulted during the melee.
Authorities would like to talk with the two men to help identify the suspects.
