LAFD crews battle ‘major emergency’ fire at Sun Valley warehouse
More than 100 Los Angeles firefighters were battling a huge blaze raging out of control Monday evening in a commercial building in Sun Valley.
Flames and thick clouds of smoke were billowing from the one-story structure in the 9400 block of Telfair Avenue, according to television news footage.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said the building may be vacant and declared the blaze a “major emergency.” The fire was reported shortly before 5:30 p.m.
No other details were immediately available.
