Lake Forest man convicted of lewd acts on children
A 34-year-old Lake Forest man was convicted Wednesday of sexually assaulting two young girls in 2009 and 2011, according to the Orange County district attorney’s office.
The man, German Bravo DeJesus, was an employee at the Palm Terrace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Laguna Woods in January 2009 when he twice approached a 7-year-old girl in the waiting room, and twice touched her vagina over her clothes, authorities said.
In July 2011, DeJesus approached a 6-year-old girl who was playing at the Grand Park in Aliso Viejo, put his hand down her pants, and then fled on his bicycle, the district attorney’s office said.
A Superior Court jury convicted DeJesus of three felony counts of lewd acts with a minor under 14, and sentencing enhancements for multiple victims. He could face 45 years to life in prison when he is sentenced June 28.
