Women at O.C. college targeted by man with lewd photo, officials say
A man has been tricking female students at Orange Coast College into looking at an explicit photo of himself, campus officials warned Thursday.
The man approached several women Tuesday in the college’s Adams Avenue parking lot, telling them he was doing a survey for a class, according to a safety alert sent out by campus officials.
Instead of a survey, he showed the women an explicit photo of himself. In one of the cases, the man exposed himself to a woman, the Daily Pilot reported.
The email alert described the suspect as a thinly built man in his 20s who is about 6 feet tall with short brown hair.
Campus officials reported the incidents to the Costa Mesa Police Department, said college spokesman Doug Bennett.
Anyone with information about the incidents or who has been approached by the man was asked to call Orange Coast College’s campus safety emergency line at (714) 432-5555.
