LAPD is investigating a fatal shooting in Pacific Palisades
Los Angeles police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Tuesday morning in Pacific Palisades, sources said.
Few details were immediately available, but LAPD Sgt. Albert Gonzalez said police responded to a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of Paseo de Oro shortly before 8:30 a.m.
Gonzales said the victim was a male and that a woman was transported to a hospital from the scene with unknown injuries.
Television footage showed several officers gathered in the residential neighborhood, surrounding what appeared to be a body covered by a tarp in the street.
