Body found in Angeles National Forest north of Castaic
Homicide investigators were responding to the Angeles National Forest on Wednesday night after a body was found by a canyon road.
The discovery was made shortly before 6 p.m. along San Francisquito Canyon Road about five miles south of Spunky Canyon Road, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The area is about 17 miles north of Castaic. The department did not say how the body was discovered.
No additional details were immediately available Wednesday night.
