Man shot to death in East L.A.
A 24-year-old man was shot to death late Saturday in East Los Angeles, authorities said.
The shooting occurred about 11:15 p.m. in the 4200 block of East 1st Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The victim, whose name was not released, was hit once in the upper body and pronounced dead at a hospital, the department said.
No arrests have been made. Investigators asked that anyone with information about the shooting contact the sheriff’s homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500.
