Reader photo: The bubble artist

Last Saturday, Diane Trimble and a group of fellow photographer colleagues attended the Renaissance Pleasure Faire of Southern California in Irwindale.

The yearly fair is a reenactment of the 1580s. Performers dressed in Elizabethan costumes roam the grounds, portraying the defining classes of the time, from nobility to laborers.

“It was fun to watch this gentleman,” Trimble said. “A large crowd gathered to watch as children laughed and chased the bubbles blown from his finger tips.”
