Re “‘Lunatic’ laws are reworded,” Dec. 9
With its special genius for dealing with the myriad conflicts and disasters that plague our nation, Congress has voted overwhelmingly to remove the word “lunatic” from federal law. Thankfully, the 1st Amendment is still in play: We may continue to use that term to describe the very bedlamites who just voted to ban it.
