Watch Lakers arrive in China, visit Great Wall
The Lakers are currently in China, preparing for a pair of exhibition games against the Golden State Warriors in Beijing and Shanghai.
Lakers.com gives a behind-the-scenes look at their trip, starting in Los Angeles as the players collect at the airport before their 13-hour flight to Beijing.
On arrival, the team was greeted with “throngs of adoring fans,” many shouting for Kobe Bryant.
A second video clip shows the Lakers touring the Great Wall, riding camels and even wiping out on a toboggan (Nick Young).
“No injuries,” said Young.
Chris Kaman wasn’t as lucky, hurting a finger in a similar incident.
The Lakers and Warriors hit the court at the MasterCard Center at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday PDT. Friday morning the team plays at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.
