Dancers take the stage when ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ tangos into Vegas
Reporting from Las Vegas — The TV reality show “So You Think You Can Dance” moves from the small screen to the stage when it comes to the Pearl at the Palms on Dec. 11.
The top 10 finalists from the 12th season, which featured a “Stage vs. Street” format, will salsa their way across North America performing in 70 cities.
The Season 12 tour lineup is made up of Team Stage members Gaby Diaz, Edson Juarez, Jim Nowakowski, Hailee Payne and Derek Piquette, and Team Street members Megan “Megz” Alfonso, Eddie “Neptune” Eskridge, Virgil Gadson, Jessica “JJ” Rabone and Jana “Jaja” Vankova.
The show features some of the most popular routines from Season 12 as well as original pieces created for the nationwide tour.
“So You Think You Can Dance” earned eight 2015 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including outstanding reality-competition program and outstanding host for Cat Deeley. The show on Fox has won 13-time Emmys overall.
