Mexico jail break video shows “inside job”
Mexico City — Three security cameras captured a recent prison break in the central Mexican city of Zacatecas, in which 53 drug cartel hitmen and other inmates escaped, apparently with help from the guards.
In scenes from one camera, the inmates brazenly file out of the cells past a guard station.
At least one of the inmates appears to have a gun. Men dressed as federal agents rush into the prison, unimpeded, round up the inmates and usher them to a convoy of sports utility vehicles that has sped up to the front gates of the prison.
In just minutes, the men pile into the cars and take off into the pre-dawn dark.
