Riverside County man held on suspicion of attempted sexual assault
A Riverside County man was arrested after he allegedly broke into a home and tried to commit a sexual assault, authorities said Monday.
Isaac Jenkins, 18, is suspected of breaking into the home early Monday in the 7400 block of Carrollton Place in Eastvale, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
“The residents were awoken to find an intruder inside their residence who attempted to sexually assault a family member,” department authorities said in a statement.
Family members detained the man until deputies arrived.
“Investigators determined that the suspect entered the residence with the intent to commit a sexual assault,” authorities said.
They did not provide any details on the sexual assault victim. Jenkins was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.
