Police search for car, boyfriend of woman found dead in Lancaster
Los Angeles County sheriff’s homicide detectives said Monday they are looking for the boyfriend of a woman found dead inside her Lancaster home.
The family of the woman -- whom authorities declined to identify -- found her body inside the trailer park home she shares with her boyfriend in the 2500 block of East Avenue I about 9 p.m. Sunday. No one had heard from her since Wednesday so police went to her house to check on her, authorities said.
The woman’s car is considered missing and no one has heard from her boyfriend, said Lt. Eddie Hernandez. There were no obvious signs of trauma on the body and the case is being considered a homicide until a cause of death is determined, Hernandez said. An autopsy is scheduled for later this week.
Police said the woman’s missing car is a red 2007 four-door Chevy Impala with license plate No. 805 YBH.
