The deal: Stay 3 Pay 2 is just that: a free night’s stay at this landmark hotel in central Rome. It was built in 1927 and houses an impressive collection of artworks by Picasso and Dali. With the free night, you also receive breakfast and Wi-Fi, and you can cancel within 14 days of arrival.

Tested: I checked online and found a room with a queen-sized bed or twin beds available Aug. 5-8. Total cost for three days, including tax, is $767.
